Boquerón ("the app") is a vocabulary learning app for people learning Spanish. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address. We use it to send you a one-time code to log in. We do not store passwords. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

Vocabulary data. Words you save, definitions, examples, your review history, and the ratings you give your own words. This data is yours and is used only to provide the app's functionality.

Usage data. Basic information about how you use the app (which words you've reviewed, when, and your performance) so the spaced-repetition system can work.

Voice input. When you use Hablar mode, your speech is processed by Apple's on-device speech recognition. The audio itself is not sent to our servers. Only the recognized text (the word you spoke) is processed and discarded.
